The last few weeks

If you know me, you know I am not a fan of winter.  But having a house, a garage, and a cute little buddy helps make it bearable.  Okay fine, I guess I am being a bit dramatic.  Here is what we have been up to:

Lots of playing with toys

Building forts

Cheesy smiles

Trips to the cabin to play in the snow

A park trip on a sunny nice day!

And our favorite adventure... a weekend trip to Arizona!  I was able to go to one of my best friend Courtney's baby shower, walked through the Gilbert temple (which was absolutely incredible), and playing with our cousins and friends.  We missed Dad, but our weekend went by far too quickly.

And finally, dinner with friends, cheering on the Broncos (which unfortunately was a let down), and chasing our crazy boy around.  Getting his dressed and changing his diaper is starting to resemble WW3.  

11 Months old

As of January 22nd, my little Mr. Moomoo is 11 months old.  I just can't believe how fast this last year has gone.  I am so sad to see this baby stage come to an end!  At least I have 1 more month to enjoy my baby.  And I guess this whole growing up thing isn't so bad... I am enjoying my sleep after all!

Ho Ho Ho!

Santa found us!  As soon as Jax woke up,  we went to see what Santa had dropped off.  He was so excited for his new toys!  We spent the day with family, just relaxing and catching up.  Over here at the MooMoo household, we sure have a lot to be thankful for.

Christmas Eve 2013

Christmas was nothing short of magical this year.  The excitement surrounding Jackson's first Christmas was so special.  He just makes everything better!  This year, we celebrated with the Wonnacott's.  Each year, they have a fancy Christmas Eve party filled with dresses, delicious food, music, and family.  Being that I spend more days than I should admit to in sweats, an excuse to get all dolled up is pretty exciting!

I know I am biased, but I have the cutest boys!  And a shout out to Garrett for getting me this dress for Christmas and letting me open it early.  I am the luckiest!

Days leading up to Christmas

There is just something so magical about the Christmas season.  Its a time of year to remember the birth of Jesus Christ, to spend time with family, and to find opportunities to serve.  Even the snow is enjoyable the month of December (which is saying a lot for this AZ girl!)  We had a blast decorating our little house, attending parties, wrapping gifts, delivering treats to friends, and watching Christmas movies.  Why does this time of year always have to fly by?

Christmas Sunday

And this pretty much sums up how Jackson dealt with the holidays.  Luckily, this little guys is such a trooper!  But all the late nights and missed naps sure took a toll on his sleeping.

Next up...Christmas Eve!

10 months

As of December 22nd, someone is 10 months old!  Each month seems to go by faster and faster.  10 facts about the cutest 10 month old:
1. He smiles at just about everyone and everything.
2. He crawls around as fast as he possibly can.
3. Jax is obsessed with stairs!
4. The drool that comes from this guys mouth is slightly unreal.
5. He has the most scrumptious legs of all time.
6. His favorite word has become mama, especially when he needs something.
7. Mr. MooMoo is starting to stand without holding on, and walks along everything.
8. Jax is ridiculously social and nosey.  Nothing gets past him.
9. He sleeps a solid 12 hours most nights.
10. Jax's favorite time of the day is when both mama and daddy are home.

We sure love you Mr. Moomoo, more everyday!  He is the perfect addition to our family, and I can't imagine my life without him.  Babies just don't come any better!  February 22nd, please take a long long time to come!
